Portrait
The portrait is both a personal and an artistic work: When I do a portrait, I always try to capture a very fair likeness of the sitter, something of his personality and the intensity of his gaze, even a presence. I also do not forget that a portrait is a work ideally beautiful in itself regardless of the subject represented and for itself, in its composition, colour balance etc.
How to proceed: Depending on the sitter’s time availability, I can work from photos taken at an initial meeting. If possible, I prefer to work from life. Five sessions of three hours with breaks are necessary for a head and shoulder portrait. I finish the portrait in my atelier, based on sketches and photographs I took during the meetings. With young children, I usually work from photographs and I propose a meeting to pose for the final finishing touches.
Please note that the completed portraits are not framed. It is also advisable to varnish the portrait 6 months after delivery. I can do this at the workshop or at home according to previous agreement. I divide my time between Paris and Copenhagen, and I am ready to travel abroad. Travel expenses, board and lodging are estimated on a case-by-case basis.

Decorative painting
Decorative painting :
The decorative painting allows me varied and customized creations. The meeting between my artistic universe and that of the client is always a source of new inspiration. The architecture track is another inspiration, and I have at heart to realize works that interact with the environment.
How to proceed: A project emerges from our exchanges on art based on my art-books and art- documents. I realize then one or more models without commitment to the customer. All styles are possible: abstract painting, figurative painting, classical painting, urban and impressionist .
Mural painting:
The trompe-l'oeil's are painted on canvas, which are then stocked on the wall by my upholsterer. The abstract murals are painted on canvas with frame. Under certain conditions, I can make the mural directly on walls or on wood (medium).
